OBJECTIVES

Polygon Apocalypse is a colorful 2D action/shooting game where you play as a circle in a rectangular box. Gameplay is along the lines of Geometry Wars. There are 2 game modes: story mode, where weapons are unlocked sequentially as you fight through 24 waves of enemies (including 4 bosses), and infinity mode, where the enemies keep coming and weapons can be acquired through power ups. A key aspect of the game is the 8 unique weapons. Each weapon is different, ranging from the basic minigun, to lightning guns and flamethrowers. The game relies heavily on particles, which can cause some stuttering on slow computers. Music and sound effects can be turned off in the pause menu, for those players that like to listen to their own music as they game.
