Some scientists had a very bad accident with the nuclear energy that led to a nuclear conflict and the whole planet was covered with winter. There was no oil, no source of energy and the whole planet earth was dead with winter until the discovery of ions was made on Europa.  The government has chosen you to fly down to Europa and collect ions to restore earth to its normal state.
